Put Your Assistant in Voice-Only Mode for the Drive

Serves Anyone who commutes, does school runs, or thinks best out loud behind the wheel

Switch the assistant to reply only with voice notes for a set number of minutes while driving, with a named default voice, then go back to text.

You will need

Method

  1. Audition a few voices once, give each a name, and pick one as the default so it never changes on you.

  2. Before you drive, send one line: voice notes only for the next N minutes.

  3. Use the drive to clear to-dos out loud, one item at a time, so you can answer each before the next.

  4. When the window ends, the agent goes back to text and posts a short written recap of what you decided.
